I usually don’t make posts about political things or anything going on with people who are considered higher up or a celebrity. So with that being said, here we go.
As some of you know, Pewdiepie has been getting a lot of shit lately about being a racist and nazi and anti-semitic which if you’ve even seen his videos you would know is not true. He has spoken out many many times about these claims and attacks and news articles keep taking what he says out of context. I think the media doing this is bullshit and childish. People get pissy about Pewds doing things for views and that all he cares about is the money and that he changed for the bad and well lemme just say that the media is bullshit. They take what they want and twist the truth for views which is way worse than what pewdiepie has been accused of when it comes to getting views.
A youtuber can’t even be open and honest and make JOKES without someone taking it and making it their own content to shit on pewdiepie and make him seem like a horrible person. The media doing this made Disney and YouTube drop him and cancelled Scare Pewdiepie season 2 which I have wanted to see since I watched season 1 and in the teaser poster for season 2, Jacksepticeye was on it and it made me want to see it even more which sucks because of people who don’t know how to leave pewdiepie alone are the reason that myself and millions of others won’t be able to watch the show.
I never would have known about the world of gaming and being a youtuber if it weren’t for pewdiepie. I owe the starting of my own channel to him. He was the first youtuber I watched 4-5 years ago before I discovered Markiplier and many many others who made a career out of playing video games. I watched pewdiepie for about 2 years and then got horribly behind on his videos and never caught up and tried to and never could but I still visited the tag on tumblr and I followed his twitter. I kept up with him even though I didn’t watch his videos. I didn’t start rewatching him until early this year and so far I love the content I’ve seen. To me, Felix has always been an amazing influence and person and if I ever got the chance I would thank him for starting his channel because if he didn’t, I wouldn’t be so passionate about wanting to be a youtuber today. Felix will always be great to me and I will always support him no matter what, and just like many other youtubers, I will always stand with pewdiepie.
After sleepness nights and the horrors of crossing the Canadian border with these huge props (kill me, seriously)…. It’s DONE. COMPLETE. D O N E. (sorry for the awful selfie lol)
